Angela Matthews describes her educational career as that of a teacher turned Instructional Technologist turned Chief Technology Officer and back to Instructional Technologist--and she has loved every minute of it!
Angela recently retired after 35 years in public education. She has Bachelor and Masters degrees from Baylor University in Elementary Education and Curriculum and Instruction/Instructional Technology. She taught elementary school for 8 years before entering the world of Educational Technology where she served in many different roles, including Instructional Technology Specialist, Instructional Technology Coordinator, Chief Technology Officer. She loves working with teachers and students alike. She enjoys showing teachers how to utilize technology in the classroom to engage their students and enhance learning. She especially enjoys sharing computational thinking and coding with elementary teachers and students.
