WeTeach_CS Summit 2026 has ended
Tuesday June 16, 2026 11:15am - 12:15pm CDT
Join Code/Art in a fun, hands-on exploration of algorithmic art that celebrates student brilliance through creativity, identity, and problem-solving. Inspired by visual artist Beverly Acha, participants will experience a processing.js creative coding lesson designed for teachers with little or no coding background, including art educators. Learn how using artists’ work as inspiration empowers students to see themselves as capable creators in computer science. View a gallery of algorithmic art created by girls across grade levels and explore how blending art and technology broadens participation, especially for girls, while honoring diverse ways students demonstrate brilliance.
