[email protected]The App Inventor Foundation is driven by its core mission to empower global learners to shape their communities through computational action by providing teachers and students with resources to create apps that improve lives and uplift society — including new worldwide AI curricula, expanded hands-on workshops from US and international locations, and the Global AI Hackathon. This accessible education specifically prioritizes underresourced areas, resulting in fifty-three percent of all current learners originating from developing regions. The App Inventor Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tracing its roots back to the creation of MIT App Inventor in 2007 by MIT and Google educators and researchers.
