About me
Kole Lovett is a Computer Science teacher at a STEM-focused high school in North East ISD, where he teaches multiple courses including Fundamentals of Computer Science, Computer Science I, II, and III. With a background in hands-on, project-based instruction and a passion for making complex concepts accessible, Kole focuses on building structured, engaging learning environments for students of all ability levels.
After stepping into multiple new preps and content areas simultaneously, Kole developed the Lovett Loop, a repeatable instructional framework designed to simplify planning, increase student clarity, and improve engagement across computer science classrooms. What began as a survival strategy has grown into a scalable system that aligns TEKS, integrates best practices such as Marzano and SWIRL, and supports both new and experienced teachers in delivering consistent, high-quality instruction.
Kole’s work emphasizes practical classroom application, collaborative learning, and a balance between structure and creativity. He is passionate about supporting other educators — especially those navigating multiple preps or new content — and believes that with the right systems in place, both teachers and students can thrive.
