About me
My name is Dr. Arisa K. Ude. I retired from a major telecommunications company after twenty-three (23) years of services in various roles – including Software Engineer, Process Improvement Engineer, Senior Technical Manager of Information Technology, etc. Prior to joining the telecom company, my industry experience encompassed all aspects of information technology (IT) at several companies including Boeing Space & Electronics, EDS, Wang Labs, and National Data Communications.
I am currently a CS/CIT Full-time Faculty at Dallas College. I previously was an adjunct faculty member of computer information systems and business at various other colleges since 1998. I have taught a wide-range of undergraduate and graduate IT, BIS, CIS, MBA, supply chain, web design, and e-Business courses.
My qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems (Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL), MBA in Business and management Information Systems (TWU, Denton, TX), and a B.S. in Computer Science (COU, Edmond, OK). My areas of research interest are Data Science & Analytics, eBusiness, human factor and usability engineering, call center workflow technologies, and supply chain management technologies.
