Peggy is an educator with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as a Digital Learning Specialist in Comal ISD after working as a 3rd-5th grade classroom teacher and a K-5 Gifted and Talented Facilitator. She is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance learning and is a strong advocate for integrating computer science skills across all elementary content areas, believing coding and computational thinking are essential tools for deepening understanding in reading, math, science, and beyond. She introduced coding and robotics in her GT classroom, sparking students’ love for problem-solving and innovation, and is driven by the belief that all students deserve access to these opportunities. Peggy is also mom to an Aggie graduate, a current Texas State Bobcat and a very spoiled mini-pinscher!
