About me
Mrs. Macias has dedicated 18 years to education with Donna ISD, serving 8 years as an elementary bilingual teacher and the past 10 years as an elementary librarian. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education from The University of Texas–Pan American, a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University, and a Master Technology Teacher Certificate. As an elementary librarian, Mrs. Macias is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that combine literacy, technology, STEM, makerspaces, coding, and esports opportunities for young learners. She enjoys helping educators discover innovative ways to integrate technology into the classroom while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of reading.
