WeTeach_CS Summit 2026

Susan is a consultant for Digital Age Learning for Education Service Center, Region 20 in San Antonio. At ESC-20 she leads many initiatives, especially in the Google and AI arenas. She also serves as Project Director for the ESC-20 Computer Science Pipeline Hub. Susan is also a K-8 Facilitator for CodeAI. Prior to ESC-20 she was a teacher and instructional technology specialist in NEISD. She co-founded an elementary robotics initiative and showcase which grew from 6 to 47 schools. She travels throughout the region working with technology integration, artificial intelligence, project-based learning, and computer science. She has led hundreds of workshops and has presented numerous times at the Texas Computer Education Association, Texas Library Association, and ISTE conferences. A Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer (along with many other product-specific certifications), Susan is proudest of surveys which note she is an encouraging and nurturing trainer who helps teachers conquer their fear of the unknown and take on new challenges.
