About me
I have been blessed to spend the past 24 years at LCJH in LCMCISD, teaching reading, math, science, technology, GT, and STEM. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University and enjoy finding creative ways to engage students through technology, hands-on learning, and real-world problem solving. Along the way, I have served as a Campus Technology Champion, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Cross Country Coach, Robotics Sponsor, and UIL Coordinator. I have also had the opportunity to present at regional, state, and national educational technology conferences. One of my proudest accomplishments has been helping continue the Region 5 robotics competition after TCEA ended its statewide robotics competition , ensuring students still had opportunities to compete and grow through robotics. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 25 years, and we are blessed with a son, a daughter and new son-in-law.
