Code, Create, Connect: Hands-On CS for the K-5 Classroom
Monday June 15, 2026 9:45am - 10:45am CDT
Spark curiosity and build foundational computer science concepts in your K-5 classroom! This hands-on session is designed specifically for elementary educators, providing practical strategies and ready-to-use resources for integrating coding and computational thinking into any subject. Participants will rotate through engaging stations to experience a range of cutting-edge educational robotics and accessible hardware, including Ozobot, Makey Makey, Micro:bit, and VEX123. The session will also highlight the power of "unplugged" activities to teach core concepts without a device. Attendees will leave with lesson ideas to use in their classrooms.
